Old Music Tuesdays: Tooth and Nail Video Volume Two

This week’s Old Music Tuesday is part two in my collection of Tooth and Nail VHS music videos from the 90s.
Like the previous installment, Tooth and Nail Video Volume Two was also released in 1995. It was basically a continuation of Volume One’s low budget music videos and indie label office antics. This VHS collection pushed hard to promote the band Driver Eight, as it included not only a music video but an office interlude in which Brandon discusses how the artwork is printed. In hindsight, this is very strange since Driver Eight only released one album and then disappeared into the ether. (The label should have been pushing MxPx, in my opinion.)
Again, the videos are embedded on a YouTube playlist, below. Several musical genres are presented here, so if you don’t like a song, just skip to the next one. Enjoy!
Driver Eight: Indie rock, and the first band I ever saw live.
Ninety Pound Wuss: Raw, dirty punk rock from Seattle.
Stavesacre: Aggressive alternative rock from Orange County, California.
Joy Electric: Electronica from Riverside. Ronnie Martin is Jason Martin’s (Starflyer 59) brother.
Plankeye: Alternative CCM rock from California.
Havalina Rail Co.: Jazzy avant garde music from Long Beach, California.
MxPx: Pop punk kings from Seattle.
Joe Christmas: Indie rock. The band’s name is from a Faulkner book called Light in August.
